When we can’t reach the tree with a truck we do the job the traditional way. Our climbers are safety conscious and experienced.
Using ropes, pulleys, friction lowering devices, and good old fashioned ingenuity even the most difficult removals are completed successfully.
If access is not a problem our crane is usually the fastest and safest method to get a tree down with minimal damage to lawns.
Our crane also allows us to work over paved driveways, houses, landscaping, or anything that we can’t land a tree on.
Trimming
At Gareth’s Tree Service we have experience trimming many different trees from full grown oaks and maples to ornamental trees.
We strive to do our best to meet our customer’s needs while considering what is best for their trees.
Our combination of using a bucket truck or a climber means we have a method to safely and properly trim most trees.
We have done it all from raising the canopy for extra clearance from the ground or from a roof, to thinning a tree, dead wooding, pruning for proper growth and reducing the crown.
We do not top trees because topping is not a proper pruning technique, does not promote proper growth, nor does it look good.

The biggest request we hear about ornamental trees is It was great for a couple years, but now it’s too big.
Can you make it smaller? The saying, “An ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure.” fits perfectly here.
It is very difficult to make a tree much smaller than it naturally is.
Some trimming is possible but the best way is to have your trees trimmed before they outgrow their environment.
The cost of trimming a tree every two or three years will save you money in the long run by eliminating or delaying (for many years) the cost of having to have the tree removed and replaced with a new, smaller one.
